Camp Halcyon 2024 Summer Camp Giveaway Official Rules

Prizes:

Grand Prize:

• One (1) free registration to any Camp Halcyon camp during the 2025 season.

Additional Prizes:

• 50% off of one (1) 2025 registration to the camper who obtains the most new registrants in their name during the full contest period*. 

• One (1) Camp Halcyon swag bag** will be drawn among the remaining entries. The grand prize winner and the 50% off winner will not be eligible for this prize.

 

How to Enter:

To be eligible, you must be a pre-registered or fully registered camper prior to 9am EDT on April 8. 

The initial period of the giveaway begins on Monday, April 1 at 9am EDT and runs until Monday, April 8 at 9am EDT. During this period, both the individual who is registering for a 2024 camp as well as the existing registered camper they credit with how they heard about camp will be granted one (1) entry into the contest. 

Example:

Chelsea is already registered for the 2024 Camp Halcyon season. Carol is not. On April 1, Carol registers for camp and lists Chelsea as how she heard about Camp Halcyon. Both Carol and Chelsea receive an entry into the contest and are now eligible to receive additional entries for each new camper they recruit.

 

The remaining period of the giveaway begins on Monday, April 8 at 9am EDT and runs until Friday, April 26 at 11:59pm EDT. During this period, only a pre-registered or fully registered camper will be granted an entry into the contest once credited by the new camper(s) registering.

Example:

On April 9, Ian registers for camp and lists Chelsea as how he heard about Camp Halcyon. Only Chelsea receives an entry into the contest. Ian can still recruit new campers but is not eligible to receive entries into the giveaway.

 

To receive credit towards an entry, under the question “How Did You Hear About Camp Halcyon?” each new camper registering must choose “I was invited by a camper” and then write the name of that camper in the subsequent form field.

There is no limit to the number of entries a camper can receive.

Selection of Winners:

• The winners will be announced during the Facebook Live event on Saturday, April 27. 

• The Grand Prize and Swag Bag winners will be drawn at random amongst all eligible entries

• The 50% off winner will be based on the individual who obtains the most registrants during the contest period, provided they did not win the Grand Prize.

• The winners of any prize are not eligible to win any additional prizes. 

General Conditions:

• Camp Halcyon employees and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

• By entering the giveaway, you agree to these official rules and Camp Halcyon's decisions, which are final and binding.

• Winners will be contacted via the email address associated with their Camp Halcyon registration.

• Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods or services.

• Winners will be announced during Facebook Live event on Saturday, April 27

 

Fine Print Stuff:

-Grand Prize and 50% off prizes may not be transferred, shared or split in any way with another individual. The prizes must be redeemed during the 2025 Camp Halcyon season unless otherwise stated by a Camp Halcyon team member. 

-Grand Prize and Swag Bag will be drawn at random amongst all eligible entries.

-In the event the Grand Prize winner is also the individual who has recruited the most new campers, the winner of the 50% off prize will be the individual who recruited the second highest number of new campers. 

-None of the prizes may be redeemed for cash or any other exchange of goods or services. 

-Grand Prize and 50% off winners must have their 2025 camp(s) chosen no later than April 1, 2025. 

-These prizes may not be redeemed with additional promotions or discounts.  

-No more than one (1) contest winner per prize. Once an individual has won a prize, they are no longer eligible to win additional prizes.

-Registered campers credited to new campers prior to the contest start date will not be counted toward their entries. 

-Individuals who request a refund prior to the end of the contest period will not be eligible to participate.

 

*At least 2 registrations must be attributed to one individual for them to be eligible for 50% off prize. 

In the event that no existing campers recruit at least 2 new campers, the 50% off prize will be drawn at random amongst all eligible entries

**Swag bag will be comprised of limited print merchandise of the Camp Halcyon team’s choosing. Size requests will be honored. No merchandise exchanges will be honored without prior permission. Approx value: $100
